LUCY & KELMAN
WEDDING ON THE BALI CLIFFS
Venue: Khayangan Estate
Lucy had been to 3 companies before finding me. No one could understand what she wanted; Elegance and Understatement. I could see her dream coming to life as we spoke. She had an extraordinary sense of color and form, and truly wanted her ideas to come to life.We created Monet’s garden for her ceremony, boarders of cultivated and meadow flowers in muted pastels.
I designed a beautiful wooden tent structure for her dinner reception, as November is rainy season in Bali. With taupe linen drapes & curtains for the entrance & sides of the tent, we left the ceiling bare to the sky with a clear rooftop to showcase criss cross patterns of fairy light strands.
Matching linen cloths for the tables with mounds of meadow & garden flowers, hand colored candles to match the flowers, chinoiserie plates & vintage blush glassware adorned each table.
